Most people take chicken as boring to cook, but there are really lots of ways when chicken can suprise you. This recipe is one of those, easy, fast, and suprisingly good.

 

 

 

 

Ingredients
4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
3/4 pound fresh mushrooms
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
6 cloves garlic
3/4 cup chicken broth
1 bay leaf
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
salt and pepper
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
1 tablespoon butter

Directions
Take the chicken breasts and season it with salt and pepper. Cut mushrooms. Mix the flour with little salt and pepper and dredge chicken breasts in it. Put skillet over medium high and heat it, then sauté chicken in it for about 5 minutes and after thet add vinegar, broth, bay leaf and thyme. Add garlic, turn the meat and put the mushrooms on it. Stir it and continue sauté it. Cover it and cook it for another 10 minutes on low heat.

Take out chicken on plate and cover it with foil. Continue cooking the sauce on medium heat for 7 minutes. Remove the bay leaf and put tablespoon of butter. Pour the sauce over chicken and serve.

Ingredients
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
3 bananas
1 egg
1/3 cup butter
3/4 cup white sugar
1/3 cup brown sugar

Directions
Preheat oven to 375F (190)C
Take muffin cups and grease it or put muffin papers in it. Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in one bowl. Mash bananas. In separate bowl beat mashed bananas, sugar, egg and melted butter.
Stir this mixture to flour mixture and mix it. Put it in muffin cups.
Bake it in preheated oven for 18 to 20 minutes until done.

Don’t have any dinner idea? Here is again one fast and easy recipe with pasta. It is really easy to make, and your children are going to love it.

 

 

 

 

Ingredients:

6 ounce package macaroni (or any other pasta)

4 ounce grated mozzarella cheese

4 ounce sliced pepperoni or ham
8 ounce carton cottage cheese
8 ounce jar pizza sauce
½ cup onion, chopped
½ teaspoon dried basil
1 Tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
Directions:

Preheat oven to 350F (175C).

Put salted water in large pot to boil. When it boils add macaroni and cook it for 8-10 minutes.

Take large skillet, put little oil in it and heat it to medium heat. Put chopped onions and sauté until tender. Add pizza sauce, cottage cheese, mozzarella cheese and pepperoni and cook it for 3 minutes.

Grease baking dish and put pasta in it. Add cooked sauce, cottage cheese and dried basil and mix it. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and put into preheated oven for 30 minutes.

Baked pasta is always great dinner idea and there is so many combinations how you can do it. I’m bringing you one easy recipe for baked pasta with cheese and ground beef, similar, but little bit different then others.

 

 

 

 

 

Ingredients:

1 (16) package dry ziti pasta

2 (28 ounce) jars spaghetti sauce

6 ounces grated mozzarella cheese

6 ounces grated provolone cheese

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 ½ cups crème fraiche

¼ cup chopped fresh basil

1 chopped onion

1 pound ground beef

 

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350F (175C).

Boil salted water in large pot. Add pasta and cook it for 8-10 minutes, follow instructions on package.

Put large skillet to medium heat. Add little oil, put onions on hot oil and sauté until tender. Add beef to onions and cook it until brown. Add spaghetti sauce and simmer for 15 minutes.

Grease baking dish and add half of the cooked pasta. Put provolone and mozzarella cheese on a layer and half of beef sauce and sour cream. Add remaining pasta, cheese, sauce and sprinkle parmesan cheese and fresh basil.

Put it into oven and bake it for 30 minutes. Enjoy.

Spanish wind cake

This recipe maybe will look complicated, but it is really easy when you try it once. In time I will share with you few more recipes similar to this, but different enough, as those are my favorites recipes for cakes.

 

Ingredients:
Biscuit:
12 egg whites
21 ounces sugar
3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
Filling 1:
12 yolks
7 ounces sugar
2 bags of vanilla pudding (powder)
2 tablespoons of flower
5 cups of milk
9 ounces margarine
4 ounces butter
7 ounces grounded hazelnuts
4 ounces cooking chocolate
Filling 2 and decoration:
4 cups of cream

Directions:
Preheat oven on 300F (150C). Mix egg whites with sugar and lemon juice. Mix it approximately 15 minutes until it is thick enough. Put backing paper into roasting pan (the big one size of standard oven) and spread little bit oil on it. Spread mixed egg whites on paper and put it into oven for 1 hour.
Mix yolks with sugar, pudding, flower and 5 table spoons of milk. Rest of milk put to cook, and when it is cooked add mixed yolks and cook for few minutes until it thickens like pudding. Leave it to chill and then mix margarine and butter in it.
Divide it into 2 parts and in one part add hazelnuts, and in other add melted chocolate.
Mix cream. Leave half of the cream for decoration.
When biscuit is done and chilled cut it into 3 same parts.
Arrange cake in this order:
1. Biscuit
2. Chocolate filling
3. Hazelnuts filling
4. Cream filling
5. Biscuit
6. Chocolate filling
7. Hazelnuts filling
8. Cream filling
9. Biscuit
10. Chocolate filling
11. Hazelnuts filling
12. Cream filling
Decorate it with cream, leave in fridge to chill and enjoy.

Prosciutto bread loaf

For this easy recipe inspiration was found watching Jamie Oliver. Great Italian dinner, and really easy to make.
Ingredients:
Dough:
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup warm water
1 (0,25 ounce)package active dry yeast
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon olive oil
Filling:
100g prosciutto
200g soft mozarella cheese
Dried basil leafs
400g peeled tomatoes
4 hard-boiled eggs

Directions:
Put flour, salt, olive oil and yeast in large bowl.

Add water and mix it by hands or mixer about 10 minutes. Leave it for 45 minutes to rest.

Remix it by hands and leave it to rest for 15 minutes again.
Preheat oven to 390F (200C).
Roll dough and prepare it for rolling into loaf. Spread prosciutto, chopped hard-boiled eggs, mozzarella cheese, peeled tomatoes and season it little bit with dry basil leafs. After it is rolled spread some olive oil on it and leave it to rest for 15 minutes.
Roll it into the loaf and put into preheated oven and bake it for 45 minutes.

Zucchini lasagne

I always have a problem how to get my child to eat vegetables. This recipe is easy to make and most of children love it.
Ingredients:
2 pounds zucchini
1 pound ground beef
1 teaspoon salt
1 onion
0,5 pound grated cheese
2 spoons of sour cream
Béchamel sauce:
0,5 liters of milk
1,5 ounces of flour
1,5 ounces of butter

 

Directions:
For béchamel sauce heat butter and when butter is heated add flour. Stir it at all times so you avoid clumps. Add milk and stir it to avoid clumps (you can use mixer at the end to make it even) and cook it few minutes until it thickens.
Chop onions and fry them on little oil. Add beef and a teaspoon of salt and fry them about 20 minutes on low temperature about 20 minutes. Add béchamel sauce and 2 spoons of sour cream. Cook it on low temperature for 2-3 more minutes.

Preheat oven on 390F (200C).
Peel Zucchini and cut in thin slices.
Spread some oil on casserole and put one row of zucchini, spread pinch of salt on it, then put mixture of meat. Repeat until there is no ingredients left, about 3 rows. On last raw spread grated cheese and put in the oven for 40 minutes.

Apple Strudel

If you don’t have idea what to make for dessert here is one easy recipe for you. Most of the ingredients for this recipe most of you have at home.
Ingredients:
1 pound puff pastry
1,5 pound apples
4 tablespoons of sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
3,5 ounces of grounded butter cookies

 

Directions:
Preheat oven on 390F (200C)
Peal and grate apples

Add sugar and fry them few minutes. Add cinnamon and ground cookies and stir.

Split pastry on two parts and roll them.

Divide apples also in two parts and spread them on pastry and roll it into strudel.

Bake it for 30 minutes.
