Most people take chicken as boring to cook, but there are really lots of ways when chicken can suprise you. This recipe is one of those, easy, fast, and suprisingly good.
Ingredients
4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
3/4 pound fresh mushrooms
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
6 cloves garlic
3/4 cup chicken broth
1 bay leaf
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
salt and pepper
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
1 tablespoon butter
Directions
Take the chicken breasts and season it with salt and pepper. Cut mushrooms. Mix the flour with little salt and pepper and dredge chicken breasts in it. Put skillet over medium high and heat it, then sauté chicken in it for about 5 minutes and after thet add vinegar, broth, bay leaf and thyme. Add garlic, turn the meat and put the mushrooms on it. Stir it and continue sauté it. Cover it and cook it for another 10 minutes on low heat.
Take out chicken on plate and cover it with foil. Continue cooking the sauce on medium heat for 7 minutes. Remove the bay leaf and put tablespoon of butter. Pour the sauce over chicken and serve.
